Haiku GCC4 Step 3: Update prime.txtIn order to be given credit, you must update the prime.txt file. Replace or update the prime.txt in the directory you've extracted your client to by:
updating Step 4: Run!You should be able to connect and get work now. Be aware that the Mac OS X and Linux clients are both "silent" command line programs and will give very little screen output. You can "tail -f prime.log" or "tail -f results.txt" to see what the client is doing. Also, it may be helpful to setup scripts to start these clients on boot-up since only the Windows client currently has that option built-in. Legacy versions of SB software (including FreeBSD and BeOS clients) can be found here. The current software on this page is distributed under license from GIMPS. |
