Download The Client
Step 1: Sign-Up (for new users)
Create an account so you can get statistics credit.
Step 2: Download (v25.9 build 4)
Most users: Windows | Windows 64-bit
Mac OS X (intel): Mac OS X | Mac OS X 64-bit
Linux: Linux | Linux 64-bit
(if the Linux client reports an error related to libcurl, try linking libcurl.so.3 to libcurl.so.4)Win Service Install: Windows NT | Windows NT 64-bit (rare option -- you'd know if you need)

(Haiku requires libcurl. download it here for GCC2 builds and here for GCC4.)
Step 3: Update prime.txt
In order to be given credit, you must update the prime.txt file. Replace or update the prime.txt in the directory you've extracted your client to by:
updating V5UserID=louie
to V5UserID=<your username>
Step 4: Run!
You should be able to connect and get work now. Be aware that the Mac OS X and Linux clients are both "silent" command line programs and will give very little screen output. You can "tail -f prime.log" or "tail -f results.txt" to see what the client is doing. Also, it may be helpful to setup scripts to start these clients on boot-up since only the Windows client currently has that option built-in.
